Uses
Reduction of pain, fever, inflammation, and stiffness as well as the symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea Inflammation, pain and fever. Reduces pain, fever and inflammation. |
Dose
250-500mg 2/day. Available OTC in 250mg tablets as Feminax Ultra. Tablets can be 25-100mg depending on time release and dosage usually shouldn’t exceed 200mg/day. 50-200mg per day, 2-3 doses |
Side effect
Can cause GI problems, such as heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, ulcers, and stomach bleeding. Alcohol consumption can increase rick of GI complications. Also linked to MI and strokes. Can cause ulcerations, abdominal burning, pain, cramping, nausea, gastritis, and even serious gastrointestinal bleeding and liver toxicity. Can be used with opioids. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, heartburn, rash, headache, dizziness and drowsiness. |
